A 90’s coming-of-age feature film set in Utah and California

“Lucy is going to Hell” is a feature film that tells the story of 17-year-old Lucy, who runs away from her Utah polygamist home in 1992 after finding out that she will be forced to marry a much older man. When she accidentally wins tickets to see a famous piano-rock band play in Los Angeles, she knows it is a sign from God. On the road trip to LA she meets Billie, a lesbian girl hitchhiking to LA in search of a new beginning. Learning to face heartache and betrayal, Lucy ultimately becomes a more resilient version of herself while inadvertently uncovering a deep, dark family secret.
