Aline Andrade

A multidisciplinary producer working across development, production, international co-production, and distribution—bringing projects from early creative strategy through production and into the marketplace.

Aline Andrade is a Brazilian-American producer, writer, and director with more than a decade of experience working across independent film, documentary, television, and international productions. Her career spans projects for Netflix, National Geographic, PBS, Hulu, ABC, CNN, Spotify, FIFA+, and independent productions distributed through Apple TV, Prime Video, Tubi, Claro TV, Box Brazil Play, and ARTE.

As a producer, Aline works across the full life cycle of a project—from early development and creative strategy through research, packaging, production, post-production, festivals, distribution, and audience positioning. She is equally comfortable helping build an independent project from the ground up or joining an established production company or producing team to move an active slate forward.

Her experience combines creative producing with the practical demands of getting ambitious work made. She has developed original material, evaluated scripts and projects, built pitch and financing materials, assembled creative teams, coordinated complex productions, managed archival research and clearances, supported international co-productions, developed festival and distribution strategies, and worked across creative, production, legal, and business-facing conversations. This range gives her a practical understanding of both how strong stories are developed and how projects move through the realities of the film and television marketplace.

Through Fine Frenzy Films, Aline has built and managed a growing slate of narrative films, documentaries, and scripted series while producing projects at different scales and stages. Her produced work includes Unexpected Treasures, an award-winning independent feature that premiered at San Diego Comic-Con and was released on Apple TV, Prime Video, and Tubi; Macumba: A Family Folklore, which she wrote, directed, and produced and which received international festival recognition before securing distribution in Brazil; and Áureo & Mirele, an award-winning documentary released through Box Brazil Play, Prime Video Brazil, and Claro TV. She also worked as a producer on The Radio, an international documentary series produced between France and the United States for ARTE.

Aline’s broader production background includes scripted and unscripted work involving internationally recognized filmmakers, artists, athletes, and public figures. Having worked across the United States, Brazil, and international co-productions, she brings a cross-cultural perspective, fluency in Portuguese and English, advanced Spanish, and a strong understanding of how projects and teams operate across different creative and production environments.

Her strength as a producer lies in seeing both the story and the path forward: identifying what makes a project distinctive, understanding what is missing, and helping translate creative ambition into an actionable strategy. She brings an entrepreneurial producer’s resourcefulness to established teams and the structure, industry knowledge, and marketplace awareness of an experienced production professional to independent projects.

Aline is a member of the Producers Guild of America and the Television Academy and was selected as a 2025 Women in Film Producer Fellow. She is available for producing and creative producing roles on individual projects, as well as development, production, and slate-based opportunities with film and television production companies.
